Department of Medicine Short-Term Resident Rotations
APPLICATION PERIOD NOW CLOSED FOR 2010-2011 ROTATIONS
The Hubert-Yeargan Center for Global Health provides two to three month Short-Term Global Health Rotations for Duke residents participating in either the Department of Internal Medicine or the joint programs of Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/Psychiatry. Of all HYC programs, the short-term resident rotations are the most common due, in part, to the wide selection of locations. Residents are expected to conduct research and/or provide clinical care to patients at the serving hospital. In limited locations, only visual observation is permitted, however, unique opportunities are available for residents to expand their teaching and lecturing skills.
