Background: Drs. Bob Einterz and Joe Mamlin of Indiana University have created one of the most comprehensive programs in Africa for HIV prevention and treatment. Because Dr. Ralph Corey’s father-in-law and wife had a long-standing relationship with the Einterz family, Dr. Corey was encouraged to explore the site in Eldoret to see what IU had created. Immediately, he realized he wanted to be a part of the efforts in Eldoret.
